twenty big billboards.
twenty-five city miles.
ten thousand Philly drivers.
(SUNDAY, March 18th, 11 am–30th St. Station, Philadelphia)
(PS– ten bucks to the first person to email what movie the above tagline was swiped from)
If you would like to go on a bike ride to check out the Zoe Strauss Billboard Project in its natural habitat–Philly’s streets… join us on Sunday, 18 MARCH, 11 a.m. Meet at 30th St. Station by Saxby’s Coffee just off the Main Concourse.
ABOUT: It’s a long ride, but not that fast; if you ride regularly, should be OK. There will be cue sheets and we will stick together. There will be various opportunities to grab SEPTA rail to bail for fatigue/schedule issues!
NOTE: this is a dang urban ride–you should be comfortable riding with traffic, single-filing hinky sidewalks, etc. BRING: helmet, lock, spare tube (even if you can’t install it yourself, someone can), a red blinky light for the back (yup, even in the daytime…) and a water bottle. Make sure your bike is in good shape, OK? We will find snacks and food during the day; bring some $, or pack PBJs. Tough tires are a good idea, too.
Finishes back at 30th Street Station–beers at Bridgewater’s Pub in the station afterwards!

Any questions, firstname.lastname@example.org with ZOE? in the subject line.
PS this is a FREE ad hoc ride and we must firmly note that it is not sponsored/authorized, etc. by any organizations of any kind and by taking part you agree that bicycling in the big city is a risky activity (like nearly anything else) and so agree to obey all traffic regulations & hold all and sundry blameless, etc. etc.
PPS: bad weather cancels; rain date 25 March.
